In 1970-ies when I was in my 20-they've developed a severe case of mosaic plantar warts that were quite painful. Particularly discouraging is the fact that I was an avid runner clocking an average of 20 miles a week. I was a copy in good health. I loved to run, but had to drop out because of pain. I went to doctors in the range of dermatologists and immunologists .. At that time, Microsoft Windows did not exist. But I had access to the Internet, which existed primarily as a portal for scientists and physicians to share their research and medical communities through many universities. There are also specialized databases such as Dialog and NEXIS premiums that remain the authoritative sources of medical research from all over the world. These databases are expensive, but if you can afford to be the best source of professional medical literature available. With the advent of fast computers and Microsoft Windows in the database are now very user friendly.

In a study of their illness, it occurred to me that I could offer a service that will weed through a lot of literature available to doctors and consumers to save a lot of time to create research publications that I could sell to the public and the medical profession which saves Thousands of people from repeating the same steps. I received lots of publicity, and even sold some of my work at John Hopkins University on the topic of breast cancer and prostate cancer. I chose this topic because there are two of the most common cancer permeating society.

I almost make a success, but the cost of acquiring information is simply too prohibitive to make any money. the name of the multimedia solutions and was the title of the publication Health Reports. To my knowledge I even saved the mans life who was suffering from a deadly brain cancer glioblastoma. I found a clinical trial and a man came to the U.S. from Israel and the treatment of extended life.

Today, many of the best free or low cost medical information can be found on the web site on the Internet.

Clinical trials where most of the new Western medicine originated. Best of the trial stage are three four, because you are sure of receiving the actual drug and not placebo. Make sure you are not getting the placebo.

Never go to the doctor without the written list of questions and concerns. Be reasonable. Are you a buyer. If your doctor does not disparage or answer your questions, you should probably find someone else. Also, always get a second opinion. If the second opinion differs from the first, most health plans and Medicare to allow for a third opinion.

Another important factor is the choice of primary care physicians and medical centers of excellence. There are doctors and then there are doctors doctors. I very strongly recommend that you read the works of Dr. John Connolly, former president of the New York Medical College. Doctor Connolly 'primary mission is to survey tens of thousands of doctors to determine which doctors doctor to try to find out when faced with illness of self or a loved one. The main simple. Doctor's have privileged information about the profession are not available to the public. If you imitate the techniques used by physicians faced with a disease, you're probably going to get a better result than just randomly choosing a physician. Doctor Connolly was a friend and I worked on projects with him, including the development of its first web site. I am confident that Dr. Connolly's methodology is the most legitimate, honest and genuine endeavor to seek the best doctors and hospitals and offer information to the public.

Hang in there. It can be very frustrating run of internists in the specialties of infectious diseases, rheumatology, hematology, oncology, immunology, autoimmune specialist and on and on. Regroup and take a break if needed, but get back at him. Would not it be great if you could just check into a center of excellence as the Cleveland Clinic and Dr. House and his team leaked diagnosticians find out what is wrong and fix it. But it's not the way medicine works. Many time I had to drag myself gray from doctor to doctor is often weak to even drive, but that's the way it works, unless you have unlimited resources.

By the way, after suffering for five yeas with my nipples have courses of chemotherapy, surgery, cryosurgery, and medications I finally found a promising drug, but as fate would have it my warts disappeared spontaneously and never returned to more than 20 years. Some say that the body regenerates every 7 years. I do not know why I went into remission .. Medicine is a mystery, art and science.
